Description

Position Summary

Feel Good Action is searching for a Development Coordinator to provide critical fundraising support for a growing organization and development program. 

Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and communications skills; is experienced and/or interested in database management; and has prior experience in fundraising. They are passionate about creating a better world and share our values for advancing social justice and environmental sustainability.  They love to work and learn with a dynamic team that embraces experimentation and data to uncover innovative solutions.

Responsibilities and Activities

  • Work with the Executive Director to create a development plan, including budget, and strategy for implementation.
  • Manage, monitor, and expand donor databases and donor tools to cultivate development growth.
  • Manage vendors of development tools. Communicate with staff to stay abreast of FGA work and to communicate program updates to donors.
  • Engage interpersonally with donors. Arrange and attend donor meetings. Track donor information. Cultivate donor relationships.
  • Produce and host donor-centric events.
  • Assist grant writers in creating proposals and developing institutional prospects.
  • Research, identify, and manage outreach to new donor prospects.
  • Collaborate with Board Members to support fundraising within their networks.
  • Work with FGA Communications staff to ensure donor communications are on point, on brand, and aligned with overall external communication strategy.

Work

  • This is a full-time remote contract position with the possibility of transitioning to employee status.
  • Salary Range:  $50,000-$63,000

Requirements

Skills and Qualities

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to build rapport with donors. Ability to concisely and accurately represent FGA mission, methodologies and programs.
  • Working command of data systems. Ability to learn new tech applications.
  • Ability to investigate and incorporate best practices and new systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote/virtual team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving demands of a start-up organization.
  • Prior experience in fund development preferred.
  • Shared belief in FGA values and mission.
